Show SOUTH MILFORD Mr. and Mrs. Walter Weber returned re-turned Monday of this week from Watsonville, California, where he was employed by the San Diego Fruit and Produce company. Mr. Weber reported having helped plant 600 acres of peas. Leonard Bowen has purchased a house in town and moved it onto his farm. Mrs. P. B. Fisher and Mrs. Ivan McKnight entertained the Social Hour club March 19. There were! eight members present and a discussion dis-cussion on rural health was continued. con-tinued. The farmers are rejoicing over this beautiful storm even if some did have to light kerosene lamps, carry lanterns and dig milk carts out of banks of snow. E. E. Corfman and Mr. McKay of the Utah Public Service commission commis-sion met with the South Milford Power Users association and representatives rep-resentatives of the Telluride Pow- er company Tuesday and effected Ian agricultural pumping rate ' which will be in effect at the beginning be-ginning of the pumping season. It I will be some satisfaction to the farmers to have a definite rate on j which to base their operations ra-jther ra-jther than the uncertainty of the past four seasons.
