Fifteen year!, aeo this week , The new elementary school building had been inspected after completion and the grades were to start school in this new build-the build-the following Monday. It was thoroughly equipped with all modern conveniences, and large enough for several years. j Mrs. George Litchfield had entertained, the afternoon being spent with needle work and social ( conversation. Those present were Mesdames William Miller. Lorine Hardy, Eh Tanner, J. Smith, Joe Smith, Ed Peterson, Dorothy Hickman. Steve Stoker, Karl Levi, 1 C. J. Mclntire, N. Schow and Mas-' ters. j I Mrs. S. E. Pitchforth had entertained enter-tained a few friends at - cards. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. H. II. Pitchforth, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bardsley and Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Nebeker. j Harold and Douglas Ryan of Burbank had transacted business in Milford. Mrs. W. F. Cottrell had returned return-ed from a visit in Salt Lake. One of the lastest improve-in improve-in the town had been new bathrooms bath-rooms for all company houses on Railroad row. The Choir club's bazaar had been an overwhelming success. Several booths, under the directions of Mrs. Harvy Hedges, Mrs. Clark Kesler, Mrs. Ted Bird, Mrs. George Fernley and Mrs. Mark-sheffel, Mark-sheffel, were very successful. The luncheon managed by Mrs. Retta I Tanner was also a success. The day had been ended with a grand j ball in the evening. They had I cleared $305.77 after all expenses were paid. Bids for the construction of a sewer were to be received by the town board and if satisfactory a contract would be let. : I The Hard Times St. Patricks! day box social held at the Metho- dist church had been well attend- j ed and enjoyed by all. Roy Cott-; Cott-; rell, Mary Roper and little j Billy Tribole were awarded prizes for various things. William Coch-' rane acted as marshal and Fred ; Jt fi'erson as judge for a mock i court. I |
