Show MINERSVILLE Members of the Clyde Marshall family were made very happy this week by the arrival home of their son Harold from the Aleutians, where he has been stationed for over a year. But it has been much longer than that since he was home on furlough. Word was received this week by Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Carter that their son Neal, who has been serving serv-ing in the navy in the South Pa-I Pa-I cific, is in Salt Lake and soon will be "home, accompanied by his wife and small' son Michael. ' Mrs. Nellie Osborne has returned return-ed .to her home in Salt Lake City. She was accompanied there by her sister, Mrs. : Edna Mecham, the latter going upstate to receive medical care for a back injury received re-ceived some time ago. Leaving this month for the services ser-vices are Keith Hollingshead, son of Mr., and Mrs. Andrew J. Hollingshead' Hol-lingshead' and Robert S. Davis, . formerly- of Milford, husband of Beverly Dotson Davis. Mr. and Mrs. James Eyre have purchased the Oswald Myers home. James is in the service and has left for overseas duty. The Ora Fotheringham home has been purchased by Mrs. Harold Dalton. It is being readied for occupancy. oc-cupancy. Harold is in the navy training camp at Farragut, Idaho. Mrs. Douglas Blackburn, accompanied accom-panied by her brother Leland, are in California to visit with her husband, who has been confined to the navy hospital near Los Angeles, suffering with rheumatic fever. Peggyi Dotson is spending the fall and early winter visiting in California with her sister Cleo. V |
