Welch, architect for our school building, has been going-over going-over our school plant with Superintendent Super-intendent Wittwer to determine what remodeling would help toward to-ward general building efficiency. So -it appears that our building program is taking definite steps toward immediate development to an early finish. P. T. A. meeting was held Monday Mon-day evening with President Mildred Mil-dred Ryan in charge. After the general business was disposed of, Mr. Baker's music department furnished musical numbers and Principal E. R. Moody gave a discussion dis-cussion on better relations needed between home and school. The problem of adult education was discussed along with the possibilities possibili-ties of having a parent day at our school a little later. All Milford parents are urged to set aside the last Monday -evening of each month for cooperating with the P. T. A. officers and school in creating a growing interest in educational improvements as well as fine entertainment which P. T. A. people peo-ple can participate in. This coming Friday night we have our first home practice game : with Parowan high school. We are ' looking for our boys to reverse the score of a week ago. Come on, ' students and townspeople, let's help get the boys off to a fine ! start for great things are accom- j plished through combined efforts! Our paper staff will take their regular annual trip to the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young university December 3. Cam-peau. The Seniors of '39 are happily displaying their class rings whicn were ordered for them by our locai jeweler. They are very beautiful in design an! show a high grade of workmanship. The seventh and eighth grade art classes have been doing a fine bit of handicraft work under Miss White and much of the advertising ! poster work is taken care of by these groups. The school opera is progressing nicely and is bound to give the j public a real treat December 22. 1 Next week there will appear an honor roll for students doinc an excellent grade of work at our high school and it will be divided according to classes. The publication publica-tion of this list should stimulate our students toward being more careful a'bout preparation and attendance. at-tendance. All high school students hav? returned to school from Thanksgiving Thanks-giving vacation and indicate -that they had a very enjoyable Thanksgiving. Thanks-giving. Some of the ex-graduates of old M. H. S. were about town with their happy smiles and good wishes for the old school. While we are talking of debates, it is a fine opportunity to mention that Bud Williams, class of '38, will be debating for the B. A. C. this year. More power to you, Bud!
