Show Firemen Plan Show "Search for talent" efforts in Milford have been eminently successful suc-cessful in the past and the Milford Volunteer Fire department is utilizing uti-lizing this idea as the basis for a big benefit show to be presented Wednesday evening, December 14, to help raise funds with which to join the Utah State Firemen's association as-sociation and thus participate in insurance benefits accruing to members of the state association. Paul Blackstock, dramatic coach at the Milford high school school, is cooperating with the Firemen, along with the members of the dramatic club at the school. They will present a one-act play and a sketch will be given by the firemen. fire-men. These features will be in addition ad-dition to the amateur contest. Prizes of $3, $2 and $1 will be awarded for places won in the amateur contest, but all enti-ants must register at Dick's confectionery confection-ery before midnight December 10. Anyone, old or young, is eligible to enter the contest, but all must register as stated. |
