Show Mrs. O. R. Sinith and daughter Rosalie spent Wednesday in Salt Lako City. Mrs. J. C. Jeffers and children, Jay and Vera, were week-end visitors visi-tors in Salt Lake City. Dan Ferguson of Caliente is an arrival in Milford for a few days visit with local relatives. Mrs. Otto Malstrom returned homo Sunday after spending several days in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Moore and children, Margaret and Douglas, spent the week-end in Salt Lake. Miss Virgie Killam has returned from an enjoyable visit with relatives rela-tives and friends in southern California. Cali-fornia. Miss Lucielle Koch of Richfield spent the fore part of the week visiting with home folks and friends. Mrs. Lee Gray of Cedar City is spending the week in Milford, visiting vis-iting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Cottrell, and other relatives and friends. Mrs. C. R. Parrish, who has been attending school at the B Y. U. in Provo, arrived last Thursday to spend a week or two at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Clark. Mr. and Mrs. George Rogers returned home Friday from upstate up-state where Mrs. Rogers had been visiting for several days. Miss Julia Hendrickson, valedictorian valedic-torian for the 1934 graduating class of Milford high school and now a student at Westminister college in Salt Lake, is spending the week at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. The young couple will make their home in Cedar City and have the best of wishes of a large number of friends. Marv Smith, Desert Range camp C C C clerk and reporter for The News since last fall, granted leave of absence, left last week-end for Salt Lake City where he was to visit for a couple of days before taking his departure for Palmyra, New York, where his parents reside. re-side. Hughes, Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Nielsen, Mr. and Mrs. La Veil Parsons, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Lamar Outzen and Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Smith. Mrs. Grover Cuddy entertained the G. I. A. club women at her home Friday night Bridge was played, with Mrs. L. B. Wadding-hatn Wadding-hatn receiving the prize for high points, Mrs. W. G. White for high honors and Mrs. B. E. Huchins the house prize award. Those present were Mesdames Otto Sten-bock, Sten-bock, A. H. Connell, J. Killam, J. L. Lowe, W. G. White, L. B. Wad-dingham, Wad-dingham, J. P. Holm and B. E. Hutchins. o Mrs. George Jefferson and young son Tommy returned Sunday from Salt Lake, where the latter received re-ceived medical treatment. Miss Rozetta Koch arrived home last week-en, for a few days visit at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. C. Koch, after an absence ab-sence of nearly two years. Miss Koch has spent the winter months visiting with relatives in Indiana, Minnesota and that section, but will return to Colorado Springs to make her home this summer. Mrs. Carl Rohn entertained the Saturday Afternoon Bridge club and guests at her home Saturday in honor of her mother, Mrs. W. C. Cates, who recently returnee from an extended stay in California. Califor-nia. Those present were Mesdames J. R. Murdock jr., Myron Lewis, Rudolph Nielsen, Douglas Ryan, George Fernley, William Cochrane, Coch-rane, Fred Levi, Thomas Campbell, M. H. Pool, Sam Cline, E. L. Smith and Mrs. Cates. Club high honors prize was won by Mrs. Lewis, high points prize by Mrs. Murdock and consolation prize by Mrs. Pool, while Mrs. Levi won guest high points prize, Mrs. Cline high honors prize and Mrs. Smith consolation con-solation prize. |
