Those present at the cere-j mony were: Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Cook, Howard, Walter and Jessie ' Cook, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Cottrell, Fred and Delia Cottrell, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Tribole, Mr. and Mrs. I Joo Warren, Mrs. H. A. Degel, Conrad Hagen, C H. Cody and Reverend and Mrs. Royden Zook. j After the ceremony the crowd re- ; turned to the Cottrell home, where ; the wedding supper was in readi- 1 ness. After supper, music was i furnished by Mrs. Zook, Mrs. Joe Warren and Mrs. Joe Tribole. ' Harold Baxter and Dave Glenn , had done the hardest hour's work 5- of their lives last Boy Scout meeting meet-ing when they had tried to hold Gaylord Martin down in a wrestling wrest-ling match '. . . . Jack Bardsley and Charles McCulley had been initiated into first class rank and some were wondering if Jack had got over his scare. Thorald White and some others were fast learning learn-ing to box. ' A large delegation of Miners-ville Miners-ville men had attended a luncheon of the Milford business men's club, predecessor of the Lions club, as guest of the local, club, and H. A. Christiansen, county agent, had remarked re-marked that he wished Beaver men had been in attendance. George Marshall told of the fertile fields of Minersville and said that the only thing lacking for that community was the county court house, which brought forth the remark re-mark from Carlton that it would be too bad to spoil such fertile fields by locating the courthouse in their midst. Present from Minersville were: G. Eyre, Warren Hall, A. J. Lewis, G. W. Carter, G. Marshall, M. Marshall, C. Marshall, Mar-shall, Frank Williams, Hayward Carter, Jas. Rollins, A. J. Hol-lingshead, Hol-lingshead, Lester Carter, Dave Banks, E. F. Foutz, C. Baker, Jas E. Goff and Lynn Kelsey. Editor Karl Carlton was being boosted for nomination as congressional con-gressional representative, according accord-ing to an item in the railroad news. C. A. Arrington had purchased the Burns hardware and furniture business and taken possession, having given up his position as cashier of the Milford State bank to do so. Mr. Burns expected to I devote himself to his agricultural ! interests. |
