Show Auxiliary Enjoys Cabaret Party Members of the American Legion Le-gion and American Legion Auxiliary Auxi-liary and their partners enjoyed a jolly cabaret party last Friday night at the Milford confectionery, where the evening was spent in cards, dining and dancing. Bridge and "500" were played, the ladies high score favor for "500" being won by Mrs. Freda Outzen and the man's favor by Herbert Hall of Minersville, and consolation ly Willard Nichols. Mrs. Beryl Dean received the ladies high favor for bridge and Rue Nielsen received the men's. Leonard Bowen received consolation. Two of Milford's most charming charm-ing girls, Kathrine Bradficld and Stella Ashby, dressed in clever (Continued on last page) Auxiliary Party (Continued from first page) costumes, entertained with songs and dances as the guests partook of the delicious luncheon that was served. A few remarks were also given by the Auxiliary president, Mrs. Leonard Bowen, and by the Legion commander, Theodore Kronholm. As an additional feature fea-ture the entire party some kind of a musical comedy by tooting their whistles and promenading in their comic caps. An hour or more of dancing concluded the joyous party which was given by the activity committee and past presidents presi-dents of the American Legion and was attended also by Minersville members and their partners. |
