Kenyon, representative of the Airway Division of the Department De-partment of Commerce, had met with a group of Milford citizens for the purpose of sounding out their idea; in regard to providing an aii plane landing-field in Milford. Mil-ford. The Milford high school Juniors had been making preparations for their Junior pi-cm, to be held March 23. The committee for the Pi'cm was composed of Estelle N'tbeker, Dorothy Levi, Loretta Murdock, Ormy Devine, Milton Heart and Lima Hickman. The B. of L. F. & E. were sponsoring spon-soring their ninth annual ball, to be held March 17, St. Patrick's day. Following close on the election ot officers of the local American Legion, members of the Veterans of Fc-reign Wars had met and elected officers for their organization, organiza-tion, The following had been thus elected: G. T. Fitzgerald, post commander; George J. Krienke, senior vice-commander; Louis Mc-Fadden; Mc-Fadden; junior vice-commander, J. F. Farmer, adjutant; Earl H. Gleas'on, quartermaster; J. H. Hanlon, chaplain and William P.. McSpadden, officer of the day. The Milford vets had received their charter January 28. L. G. Clay, Milford dealer in Essex, Hudson and Star cars, had reported that two carloads of auttos had been shipped to Milford. Past Noble Grand Mattie Armstrong Arm-strong had entertained the Past Grands of Victory Rebekah lodge at her home. Those present were Bertha Cottrell, Violet Jeffers, Ida Steenbock, Pearl Hunter, Mabel Coleman, Ida Crawford, Susan Glenn, Sadie Litchfield Selma Carlson and Oora Carlton. The Business and Professional Womens club were giving an April Fool dancing party. The following women were on the committee: Mrs. Lucile Raines, chairman; Mrs. Pearl Hunter, Mrs. Susan Glenn, Mrs. McGarry, Mrs. Erma Gillies, Mrs. Grace Jefferson, Mrs. A. J.
