Show Local Sailor Boy Weds Minersville Miss The A. H. Connell home was the scene of a pretty wedding with a navy backgrtcend Sunday evening when Miss. Eilleen Gillins of Minersville Min-ersville became the bride of George A. Connell, who was among the first of Milford's hoys to volunteer for navy service. The ceremony was performed by Car-lyle Car-lyle Gronning-, bishop of the Milford Mil-ford L. D. S. ward. Guests at the wedding supper included the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jule Gillins, and her grandmother, Mrs. Mary E. Mathews of Minersville; the bridegroom's bride-groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Connell, and Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Meeker (the latter his sister), Mrs. J. P. Holm, Mrs. Loran Bishop, Mrs. Ellen Workman and Mrs. Freda Outzeji. The bride, a popular Minersville girl, is a Senior at the Milford high school and will continue her schooling until graduation, while the bridegroom returns Saturday to his ship. Both have the very best wishes of young and old alike in their happy venture. |
