S. A. C. in Ltgan, was to attend the state fair with the college's stock judging judg-ing class. j One of ihe most handsome and best homes in Milford had just been built in Milford by F. Clark Kesler. i The election of class officers for the Milford high school had taken place and w?re as follows: Tenth grade Ted Barter, president; Wil-ford Wil-ford Theissen, vice president; L'.hel Stanley, secretary-treasurer. Ninth grade Leroy Carlson, president; presi-dent; Jack Turley, vice president; Delia Kirk, secretary-treasurer. Eighth grade Theo Fothering-ham, Fothering-ham, president; Fern Hickman. vLe president; Alice Ward, secre-tary-ti easurer. Seventh grade Thurlan Schow, president; Dcrothy Levi, vice president; Milton Hearn, secretary-treasurer. Those enrolling- in the woodwork department at the high school were Rulon Bird, LeRoy Carlson, Richard Cliff, Walter Cook, Max Root, Eugpene Harter, Douglas Jennings, Jen-nings, DeLoss Tanner, Jack Tur-lev, Tur-lev, Melvin Stanley and Thorald, White. Floyd and Ray Casterline had returned re-turned from an extended tour thixug-h Calif ornia and oKlherisriyvte along- the western coast. They also visited Canada and Alaska. The M. I. A. officers and their partners had been entertained at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bowen. Those present were Bishop and. Mrs. Bird, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Tanner, Mr. and Mrs. W. Blackner, Dr. and Mrs. Parrish, Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Tanner, Mr. and Mrs. Warren War-ren Atkin, Miss Juanita Miller, Mrs. Ross Smith, Mrs. Joe Smith, Miss Ardath Johnson, Miss Gar-netta Gar-netta Clements, Mrs. J. H. Pitch-forth Pitch-forth and Miss Lavilla Watts. The Victor Rebekah lodge had given a party in honor of Mrs. Vena Wilson, who was leaving for a year's stay jn Iowa. Mrs. George Litchfield had given a party in honor of the seventh birthday of her little niece Irene. Those present were Donald Tanner, Tan-ner, Dorothy Tanner, Inez Smith.
