Show Desert Range C.C.C. Camp Notes By Marv Smith, Camp Correspondent When Captain . Curtis, assistant district chaplain, arrived last week, it was the signal for a good rousing evening of fun. And we were not disappointed. . Captain Curtis, .travels over the Fort Douglas district, holding hold-ing programs and religious services in the camps. Approximately 100 men are home I on a ten day leave granted last Friday Fri-day for overtime work during the past few months. Most of those now at camp are enrollees who joined during the past month. , Two "Spike" camps of about 30 ' men each are now cutting poles and posts for the work projects. They i are located at Indian peak and Baker. I THIS WEEK'S TRAGEDY , "Ruth rode in my new cycle car "In the seat just back of me. i "I took a bump at fifty-five "And road on Ruthlessly." Definitions: "The C C C A place to kill time between week-ends." Captain and Mrs. Walker have spent the last few days visiting in Salt Lako City. ' Several camp members were- homo on November 6 in order to vole. (I wonder if they missed their "Little Sahara" home out in Pine valley while they were away?)
