Show ' ' Mr. and Mrs. John Carling of Fillmore Fill-more visited at the home of their daughter, Mrs. L. G. Clay, Friday. Master Wallace Hughes was host to a merry group of little friends Wednesday, the occasion, Ibeing his birthday. E. L. Smith has been sent to Nani-pa, Nani-pa, Idaho, to work for the Oregon Short Line railroad during; the beet and potato season. Mrs. I. L. Kelly, accompanied by Mrs. Thomas Johanson and son, returned re-turned home Sunday after spending the past week in Salt Lake City. V. M. Bates, representative of the L'tah state tax commission, was in Milford Wednesday on matters connected con-nected with tha collection of the state sales tax. Mrs. E. L. Smith and two small laughters accompanied Mrs. E. J. Smith to Franklin, Idaho, Friday of 'ast week, for a short visit with relieves. reli-eves. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Crawford and small son of Caliente spent the weekend week-end here, visiting with Mr. Crawford's Craw-ford's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles '"raw-ford, and family. Miss Rosetta Koch entertained it a shower in honor of Miss Merle White Friday evening- at the 0. C Koch home. An enjoyable time wa-iad wa-iad by all those present. The evening A-as spent in playine; bridge, pinochle and "aOO", after which refreshment xore served. Raymond Taylor, a former employe f the Milford J. C. Penney store and t one time a member of the Milford '.. D. S. bishopric, was in town Wed-'.esday. Wed-'.esday. He was accompanied bv Wendell Bowen, who is associated with him in the dry poods business, with headquarters in Spanish Fork. |
