Show ANNUAL TELLURIDE OUTING HELD SUNDAY The annual outing of the officers and employes of the Telluride Power company was held Sunday at the upper up-per plant in Beaver canyon and the entire affair, held in as pretty a spot as one could wish for, was an outstanding out-standing event in a series of similar simi-lar parties. Every district served by the company was represented by loyal employes who look forward to this great family gthering and there can be no question of the good that a get-together rxfy of this kind accomplishes ac-complishes for the company and the .'ndfvidval with the (general public benefited in no small degree by the better cooperation between employer and. employe. Gathering at the plant during the forenoon, the time before lunch vaa .served was devoted to visiting with each other and a very fine program of stunts, musical and other numbers and g-ames followed the luncheon, with all divisions furnishing one or ' more parts on the program. Pole-climbing Pole-climbing contests and snowshoe races furnished a lot of good-natured rivalry, riv-alry, while the kiddies were well taken tak-en care of with games and races befitting be-fitting their ages. H. B. Waters, general manager and Mr. Waldo, company attorney, together to-gether with Mrs. Waters and Mrs Waldo, were present from Salt Lake and joined heartily in the festivities themselves contributing a goodlj hare of the general merriment. |
