Show GRADERS SHINE IN TRACK MEET Divided into A, B, C and D groups, the students of the lower six grades of the Minersville school recently participated in a track . meet that would have done credit to a much larger school. Planned and directed for the greater part by Paul S. Wor-then Wor-then but assisted by other members of the faculty, the affair went off in , good shape and no doubt did a great deal to stimulate a desirable interest in good clean athletics. Results of the various events are given below, the names of girl and boy winners in the four groups being be-ing given in respective order. In the races the various lengths represent the different groups, the shorter races rac-es being those run by the - younger kiddies. 25-yd. Race Genevieve Robinson and Kent Worthen. 40-yd. Race -Gene Le Fevre and Vance Marshall. 65-yd. Race Elaine Albrecht and Warren Hardy. 75-yd. Race Mary Edwards and Maurice Clothier. In the running broad jump the girl and boy winners in the four groups were as follows: Genevive Robinson and Gerald Eyre, Vance Marshall and La Ray Rollins, Delroy Craw and Elaine Albrecht, Gladys Marshall and Alton Marshall. High Jump Audrey Clothier and Gerald Eyre, Elene Gillins and Walton Wal-ton Hall, Ferrol Fotheringham and Delroy Craw, Gae Le Fevre and Maurice Mau-rice Clothier. Ball-Throwing Mamie Dotson and' Bruce Fotheringham, Fay Thompson and Vance Marshall, Norma Clothier , and Clare Carter, Mabel Sherwood and Leland Dalton.
