Show BEAVER , I Our community was saddened a'.ain this week when two more of our people were taken by death. Mrs. Ida Gillies, wife of Burton Gillies, who died Wednesday at the St. George hospital, was buried Sunday, also her cousin, Ezra Thompson, whoj died at his home of cancer. Berth funeral were well attended by sorrowing sor-rowing relatives and neighbors ana' scores of friends of both families Mr. and Mrs. Walter L. Carlton spent the week-end in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Xancy K. Burt returned Sunday Sun-day from California, where she spent the preceding three months with relatives. re-latives. Preparations are underway for the celebration of the 7Sth birthday of Beaver City, which will be observed on Tuesday, February 6. County Assessor Jess I!aker is at Miner.-ville this week, attending to his annual assessing work. Karl Levi of Milford was in town -everal days last week.
