OHIO COPPER PRODUCES LOW COST COPPER Because of the natural advantages ad-vantages the Ohio Copper company's com-pany's present method of leaching leach-ing of its ore bodies in place this company can now be placed plac-ed on record as being one of the lowest cost producers in the world. Production of the Ohio Copper company for the month of June totaled 332,786 pounds of copper which brought the output to a total of 1,229,436 pounds for the six months, with an average cost of production of a little better than 7 cents per pound, Precipitates average over 92 per cent copper which is said to be the highest grade copper content produced in the world. By the end of September Septem-ber the management expect to have its new 1500 gallon pumping pump-ing equipment installed so that the flow of water being distributed dis-tributed over the company's outside workings can be increased increas-ed to 1500 gallons per minute. |
