Every catch has its peculiar merit, and each adds to your knowledge of fishing, even to the habits of the gam-e- st fish that lives. Fishing there is no sport that excells it none that better displays better your mental and physical powers. Let us point to our fishermen friends with whom we are acquainted, who built themselves summer homes on the Provo river where they can enjoy their fishing to the full. They fish purely for the sport of fishing, when they return they are rested in mind and body, quickened in thought and action, prepared to ge in life's duties with a better dispo-sition, a better sense of fair-ness, a clearer idea of square-ness, and know it has been worth all it cost and more. It's the getting back to nature that holds the secret of all they have gained. They appreciate the expenditure of the Govern-ment and state to re-sto- ck the streams and will not . violate in any manner the fishing laws laid down by the sate, they have learned tha't close to nature's heart lies purity of thought anl they realize if all men would commune this would be a more beautiful world and a fitter habitation for us all. Our con-tention is real fishermen are real men, because they hold the true spirit of sportsmanship. What is Fishing? Ask any of the local fisher-men the above question and they will give you a reply that may surprise you. Did you ever cast a "fly" or even an an-gle worn on a pool just at the v foot of some riffle, on a trout stream and experience the thrill of a "bite." If not you have missed the sensation that one cannot adequately describe, your first thought and edsire is to land your catch, especially if it is a large fish and you take fully into consideration your ( possibilities of losing him. When you finally land him safe-ly in your basket you again go all over the whole operation to satisfy yourself that you have secured your fish in a true sportsmanlike manner. While you have been victor you ad-mire the fighting qualities of your adversary, each catch has some variation, for trout, like human beings are not made Editorial UTAH COPPER TO HONOR GENERAL MANAGER GEMMELL The Utah Copper Company have a number of men employ-ed excavating for the foundat-ion of a club house for the. em-ployees of their company.
