Show MINERSVILLE Pre.-iiient and Mrs. Taylor Farns-woith Farns-woith ami baby of Beaver were in town Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Graff and daughters, Helen and Carol Jean, spent the weekend in Washington county. Miss Lola Roberts departed Sunday Sun-day for Copperton, where she will teach school. Gertrude Benson of Parowan ha-; been visiting relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Roberts and children spent the first of the week in northern Utah with relatives. Mrs. Eva Jensen of Parowan has vjsited here with her mother, Mrs. Charles Zabriskie. Mrs. Vella Browner ad children Jay and Mariene, accompanied by Miss Irma Gillins, departed Wednesday Wednes-day for Kansas, where they will spend two weeks. Mrs. Elsie Smith of Beaver spent Saturday afternoon here. Mrs. V. D. Spencer returned to Salt Lake City Sunday, after spending: the past three months here. Harold J a me ii visited over the weekend with friends in Hriham City. Kay Goff spent the weekend at Salt Lake City. The L. D. S. Beaver Stake reunion is being held here Wedne.-day afternoon after-noon and evening-, September (j, with L. W. Gunn, R, C. Munlock and Karl Tolton, the outgoinir stake presidency, presi-dency, as the honored guests. At 2 o'clock a meeting- is being- held and a basket lunch for everybody follows between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. a bonfire and prog-ram, given by the stake Mutuals, are scheduled. Melons will then be served, after which a dance will bring to a close the days festivities. |
