Show LOCALS Miss Grace Turner left Thursday for her home at Huntington Calif., after a brief visit with her mother and sister. A large number of "Old-Timer" Union Pacific employees plan on attending at-tending the annual reunion at Salt Lake on Saturday, April 1. All eligible elig-ible "Old-Timers" will be extended the privilege of riding to Salt Lake on train No. 8, leaving Milford at noon that day. Mrs. J. R. Murdock was hostess to the Pierian club Monday evening, March 27, an interesting English lesson les-son was conducted by Mrs. I. J. Kelly, after which an article was read by Mrs. L. -G. Clay. At the close of the meeting refreshments were served to Mrs. J. P. Murdock, Mrs. R. E. El- lingsworth, Mrs. L. G. Clay, Mrs. Roy White, Sr., Mrs. I. L. Kelly, Mrs. J. L. Low, Mrs. O. C. Koch, Mrs. J. D. Johnston. Mrs. George Rogers entertained her bridge club on Wednesday of last week. Those present were Mrs. Gene Kirk, Mrs. Joe Smith, Mrs. Fred Levi Mrs. Frank Kuehenmeister and Mrs. Abe Fotheringham. Invited guests were Mrs. Jay Jeffers, Mrs. Ray Mal-strom, Mal-strom, and Mrs. Bernard Hutchins. Mrs. Fred Levi won high score and Mrs. Kuehenmeister, the consolation. The guest prize was won by Mrs. Malstrom. A delicious luncheon was served. |
