Show MILFORD TOT DIES AFTER BEING HIT BY AN AUTOMOBILE ONLY LIVED A FEW HOURS AFTER THE TIME OF ACCIDENT DAUGHTER OF OWEN HOLT'S A terrible accident occurred on I Main street last Sunday at about ' noon, when a car driven by Marion Bowman, 17, struck little De Revo Holt, four year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Holt, and caused injuries in-juries from which she never recover-l recover-l ed. She died late that night after . ! being rushed to Salt Lake on the af- y j ternoon train. i The child was on her way home from Sunday School, and crossed the street just north of the end of the pavement on Main street. When struck by the car, she was hurled violently to the ground and received a fractured skull as well as broken limbs. The body was taken from Salt Lake City to Emery, the former family home, where the funeral was held. The child's untimely end is the second affliction that the family has suffered suffer-ed within a few months. Another little girl died this summer of illness. Left to grieve with the parents are two other small children. The father is employed in Milford at the Union Pacific shops. An estimation of the speed that the car was traveling when it struck the little girl naturally differs with various var-ious witnesses. No inquest has been held as we go to press but it is likely that the circumstances of the sad accident ac-cident will be reviewed before Justice Nichols late this week. The driver is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bowman. Bow-man. - . r, |
