Show SCORELESS GAME IS PLAYED AT PANACA The Milford high school football squad journeyed to Panaca, Nevada, last Friday ,and met the team representing repre-senting the Lincoln County high school. The battle was a drawn affair, af-fair, both sides being held scoreless. Eac hteam played 'heads-up' football all the way through waiting for the break that should decide the winner, but none came. The game resolved itself into a punting duel. Neither team was able to get within their opponents' twenty-yard line. The Hilltoppers returned with a lot of respect for their Nevada opponents, op-ponents, but were quite satisfied with their own showing. The Panaca lads were said to be very heavy, but presented a clean team of football players. o |
