Show CHILDREN'S DAY TO CELEBRATE CLOSE OF AUXILIARY CONTEST Pans for the children's party to be held Monday afternoon to celebrate the dose of the back yard play ground contest were perfected at a business meeting of the American Legion Auxiliary Aux-iliary held Thursday evening last week at the L. D. S. Church. At two o'clock Monday afternoon the children of Milford and Mjners-ille Mjners-ille will be entertained by the Auxiliary Auxil-iary in the shaded street between the Milford Hotel and the Hubbell Drug. Games will be played, a musical program pro-gram presented, several short talks given and finally, the prizes will be awarded by Dr. Addison Bybee to the winners of the back yard play ground contest. Mayor Hubbell is master of ceremonies. Among the prizes are a kodak, play ground equipment, and cash awards. The contest is under the management of Auxiliary members, Mrs. Abbie Dutson, Mrs. Carry Joest, Mrs. A. Clark, Mrs. William Mitchell and county chairman of the Better Homes in America, Mrs. Rue Nielsen and city chairman, Mrs. Annie J. Atkin. Rue Nielsen and LaMar Outzen will be in charge of the games. Ten dollars toward furnishing refreshments re-freshments for the children were don-a'.ed don-a'.ed by the Vetans of Foreign V ars. o |
