Show KESLER TRAPPED IN BLAZING WELL PIT SERIOUSLY BURNED Sim Kesler is in a serious condition in the Milord Hospital from third degree de-gree burns sustained while burning out a well pit last Thursday afternoon. after-noon. Kesler was working in a well pit on his ranch in South Milford when he discovered that the pit was clogged with weeds. He got into the pit and set the weeds afire in an effort to clear them out. However, once the blaze was started he found that he was trapped in the pit and was forced to remain until the weeds had ceased burning. The heat of the fire produced serious burns on the face, hands, arms and a number of areas of his body. When he could escape from the well he made his way to his car and drove into Milford Mil-ford for medical attention. For several days it was not believed that he would live but a slight improvement im-provement has been noted in his condition con-dition in the past two days. Kesler is the brother of Loten Kesler Kes-ler who was killed several months ago when he came in contact with a live wire while working around his pump on his ranch in South Milford. - n . |
