Show BEAVER I Mrs. Louie Clark, who was called to Fayette, Utah, three weeks ago by the death of her father, James Mel-lor, Mel-lor, left for her home in Los Angeles, after spending a week with her daughter, Mrs. Art Meredith at this place. Misses Mae Blackner and Ann Woolsey are clerking at the J. F. Tolton Investment Co. store. Ivan Olfen ,who carries the mail by plane from Glendale, Calif., to Old Mexico, stopped over in Beaver, Thursday for a short visit with his uncle, L. O. Lemon, and family. Mr. Olfen was enroute to Salt Lake City by auto to visit relatives. Mrs. Katherine Noyes met with a painful accident Monday evening when she turned her ankle causing a bad sprain. She is at the home of the local nurse, Mrs. Dorothy Williams, Will-iams, receiving treatment. Mrs. Rose Meredith .mother of Art Meredith, and Mr. Meredith's broth-' broth-' er's wife, Mrs. Lettie Meredith and small son, Earle, who have been spending the past four months in California .stopped off in Beaver for a day's visit, enroute to their home in Malad, Idaho. Announcements have been received of the marriage of Miss Lou Willden to Albert Farnsworth, which took place in the Temple in Mesa, Ariz., on March 23. The young couple will make their home in Mesa. They have the best wishes of a host of friends at this place. o |
