Open discussion on advisability of asking school board to maintain school for full term. . In Mr. Carlisle's talti, a history of education was given, treating the gradual development of the training for citizenship idea, and comparing the trend of school systems in this country with those of Europe. In the matter of early closing of school, the Association endorsed thej petition of the Lions Club, read by L. C. Brown, asking that the county Board of Education continue this year's work for the full 36 weeks. |
