Show TRAFFIC VIOLATION ' The enforcement of the traffic ordinance of the Town of Mil-ford Mil-ford is in line with a concerted effort being made in every town and county in the state to cut down the toll of automobile accidents acci-dents which are incensing each year. While most towns, like Milford, have laws on their statutes books governing parking, turning, speeding and other necessary points to prevent accidents, citizens are too prone to become neglectful neg-lectful if the regulations are not strictly enforced. These citizens citi-zens are not willful violators, neither, in most cases, are they careless drivers, but if not reminded occasionally of the rules governing driving in the town, becolme lax in their attention of driving, and this leads to minor accidents and possibly accidents of more serious nature. The town officials should not be censured for enforcing the traffic ordinance; they should be commended. Those who thoughtlessly violate the odinance, should be "good sports," and willing to pay a fine in the cause of greater protection to life and property. |
