Show LOCALS AND PERSONALS Miss Luella Bird returned home from Ogden Tuesday. J- - Miss Marion Murdock left Tuesday for her home at Salt Lake City. Mrs. A'. L. Fotheringham returned home after spending the winter in Washing-ton and California. Jay Webster and Paul Wilkinson of the A. T. & T. Co. spent a few days in Milford this past week. Raymond Taylor, of the J. C. Penney Pen-ney Company, accompanied by his family, left Monday for Ogden for a two weeks vacation. i M. H. Pool and family spent the Fourth with friends in Salt Lake City. C. J. Hamel and family are nicely located at the Sloan Apts. B. Esberson and Bert Lockhart of Salt Lake were here for the Safety First meeting on Wednesday. Dr. Kohler and family spent the Fourth at Malad City, Idaho visiting at the home of his parents. Mrs. B. P.Manear and duaghters Mass Helen and Marjorie left Monday for a months visit at Mineola, Long Island, N. Y. Miss Margaret Moore of Provo, was a guest at the home of her sister Mrs. J. M. Williams. Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Smith of Garrison Garri-son visited our city this past week. Miss Lee Smithson is spending her vacation at the Capitol City. F. L. Stott and family have gone to Meadow to spend the summer. A good many tourists from California Califor-nia have stopped over in Milford late- iy. Mrs. L. R. Vest and two children, of Eureka, were guests at the home of Wm. Dawson. Jack McMullen, pf Long Beach, Calif., is visiting his dad, A. J. McMullen. Mc-Mullen. ' Mrs. Ray Casterline left Thursday morning, for Panaca, Nevada to visit at the home of her parents. Mrs." Jess Skinner and daughter, Miss Dee Lynn, has retured to their home at McGill, Nevada. 'rTe. Ellingsworth and family and Jos. R. Murdock, Jr., left July 4th for a two weeks' vacation trip through the Pacific Northwest. Helen M. Fanning and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Strawod of San Francisco were here this week. '"'Miss Elma Bird is the office girl for Dr. Parrish. She is taking the place of Lorreta Murdock. Mrs. Karl Larsen of Salt Lake City was guest at the Sloan home for a few days. Leonard Bowen is confined to his home, being bit by an insect while enjoying en-joying an outing at the Hanging Rock resort. i A. J. McMullen, of the Beaver Copper Cop-per Co., spent the past week at Salt Lake City on business. Royce Palmer, of Whittier, Calif., arrived last week to make his home with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Peckham. Mrs. Margaret Hoops and daughter; Mr. and Mrs. Cliff McDonald and two children, of Evanston, Wyo., spent the week-end at the Karl Levi home. -'Miss Helen Kinney returned the mforning of the Fourth from Hollywood, Holly-wood, Calif., and will spend the summer sum-mer here. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Martin returned return-ed to their home at Las Vegas, Nev. after spending the Fourth with her mother Mrs. Dan Ferguson, accom-paning accom-paning them was Miss Jayne Rickerds a nurse at the hospital. Mrs. John Ryan was brought in from their ranch at Burbank in a critical cri-tical condition last Saturday. She took the first train out for California where she will remain until she has fully recovered. A. C. Ryan her son accompanied her into Milford. |
