Show MAY EXTEND PUFFER LAKE ROAD OVER 1 DIVIDE TO JUNCTION Messrs. Wm. Hurst, of Beaver, Thos. Sevy, of Panguitch, and George Geor-ge Jefferson, of Milford, .made a trip to Salt Lake and Ogden last week, to interview the state road commission and the forest service relative to the Buckskin and Puffer Lakemad. The county commissioners of Beaver county have expressed themselves as ready for Beaver county's portion of the road, and have arranged for a meeting with the commissioners of Piute county in the near future to discuss the proposition. The delegation to Ogden report that the state and forest service are favorable to a continuation of this highway over the divide. In the event that an agreement is reached between the state, counties and forest service, there is no doubt but what a standard built highway will be constructed next year. State Road Commissioner Osborne, Os-borne, accompanied by Messrs. James Jam-es Robinson, Wilford Robinson and F. O. Wilden made a trip up the canyon can-yon Monday to look over the proposed propos-ed work to be done on the canyon road this summer. o |
