Show LOCALS AND PERSONALS '7 i u V Frank Carter, a student of the A. C. at Logan, spent the week-end in Milford with his parents. D. A. Lakin, assistant general manager man-ager of the Shell Oil company of Utah, and James Bohan, official for this territory, were in MSlford last Thursday in the interest of their J company. They returned on further , business this week. Dr. C. R. Parrish was in Salt Lake City last Friday and Saturday. Mrs. W. C. Cates is back tliis week from an extended visit in California. She reports having had a splendid trip and vacation. Mr. and Mrs. George Rowley were called to Milford last Friday on account ac-count of the serious illness of Mrs. Roeley's mother, Mrs. George Ches-ley. Ches-ley. Mr. Rowley returned the first of the week. Mrs. Rowley remained in Milford with her parents. Progress, Pro-gress, Fillmore. Dick Jansen, of the Intermountain Electric company, of Salt Lake, was in town on business last Wednesday and Thursday. Mrs. William Sieckman and little daughter Louise, departed for Chicago, Chi-cago, 111. Monday where Louise will enter the Shriner's Hospital for medical me-dical treatment. Mrs. John J. Eyrand, of Caliente, , spent Monday and Monday night in j Milford. j J. S. Hanks came down from Salt j Lake City Tuesday on a brief busi- J ness trip. i Miss Treva M. Fouts, who teaches in Salt Lake City, is in Milford for a few days visit. She fs on her spring ; vacation, which lasts for one week. Mrs. P. J. Evans and mother, Mrs. Marguerite William, spent several days in Salt Lake this week. I Roy Cottrell left Sunday night on : a business trip to Salt Lake City and I Provo. Mrs. Clarence Lewis made a business busi-ness trip to Salt Lake Tuesday. D. C. Cook, a visiting supervisor j ef Safeway Stores, was in Milford i over the week-end for the purpose of j invoicing stock at the Milford Safe- j way Store. J. P. Allen, of Tooele, spent Saturday Satur-day night in Milford helping to take inventory at Allen's Cash Store. Hon. Wm. F. Knox was seen on the Milford streets Thursday. Mr. Knox was very ill this winter and has spent some time in California recuperating. o |
