Show COUPLE CELEBRATE GOLDEN WEDDING Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Hickman celebrate-.! their 50th wedding anniversary anniver-sary June 12th, the occasion also being Mr. Hickman's 71st birthday. The reunion was held in the L. D. S. church where 87 children, grandchildren grand-children and near relatives partook of a big banquet. After which the evening was spent in dancing and a splendid program was rendered as follows: Song v.. Dan Ferguson Piano Solo Fern Hickman Cornet Duet Dez Hickman and son Sherman Tap Dance. Zola Rogers Song, Mr. and Mrs. Stan Voorhees Tap Dance Elaine Kirk Song, Fernley Hickman and Elma Voorhees Violin Solo Marcel Horton Song t Dan Ferguson Dancing continued, the m,usic be ing furnished by the family orchestra-Ice cream and cake was served at a late hour. Mr. and Mrs. Hickman received many useful and beautiful gifts, including in-cluding twenty-two and a half dollars dol-lars in gold. The church was decore-ted decore-ted in golden streamers and beautiful beauti-ful g'arden flowers. The attractive anniversary cake which was decorated decorat-ed with miniature bride and groom and 71 candles, was surrounded by gold candles in gold candle-sticks. Evertone received a. small piece of the wedding cake as they departed. Those who attended from out-of-town were Morrison Hickman, of Boise, Ida., Mr. and Mrs. Fay Hickman Hick-man of Beaver, Sam Hickman ' of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Leslie Ence and Mrs. Wmt. Garr, grandchildren of Salt Lake. The following children were born to this happy couple: Dez Hickman, of Milford; Morrison, of Boise, Ida., Fay, of Beaver, Sami, of Salt Lake, Mrs. Roy Rogers and Mrs. Walter Griffiths of this city. James and Van Hickman have passed away. n . |
