This form of advertising can take a tangent at times which publishers will not allow to be run in their papers as honest advertising. SANTA ANA, Cal. Superior Judge James L. Allen of Orange county announced an-nounced today that he would petition Governor Young to curb radio advertising adver-tising of real estate based upon what Judge Allen maintains are fraudulent claims. Judge Allen said that he took particular par-ticular exception to an advertisement advertise-ment broadcast by a Long Beach station sta-tion last night in which land eight miles north of Niland in Imperial valley was offered for $25 an acre, and declared to be in line for vast development with the completion of Boulder Canyon dam. "I know that the land so advertised," advertis-ed," Judge Allen said, "to be in the mountains, rocky and worthless for agriculture because it has no soil. Boulder canyon dam never will benefit bene-fit it." CALIENTE, Nev. Leigh Hunt, Las Vegas capitalist plans to ask congress to ban fraudulent radio advertising to prevent unscruptulous realtors from taking advantage of the construction con-struction of Boulder Dam by selling worthless desert land.
