Show RELIEF SOCIETY NOTES On Sept. Mlh and 2 6th a most interesting in-teresting Relief Society Convention was held at Hinckley, In connection with the regular Quarterly Conference Confer-ence of the Deseret Stake. The ladles were Indeed grateful to have Mrs. Amy Brown Lyman, wife of Apostle Lyman, and General Secretary Sec-retary and Treasurer of the National Women's Relief Society present. j Mrs. Lyman's Instruction along ! Charities and Relief lines were most ! excellent. Four separate sessions j were held with Relief Society workers, work-ers, and ou Sunday afternoon the "overflow" meeting consisted of Relief Re-lief Society members. At this meeting meet-ing Mrs. Lynian's remarks were of ! vital Interest' to the mothers. The subject of Social Service was discussed, dis-cussed, with a view of bettering conditions con-ditions In our communities. Many ; ways were pointed out where Mothers Moth-ers could be helpful la this regard. The subject, of Juvenile Delinquency Delinquen-cy was especially Interesting as treated by Mrs. Lyman; and many mothers left the meeting with renewed re-newed determination to do all that lies within their power to stem the tide of this growing menace to society. so-ciety. Proper chaperonage and strict observance of the Curfew Law were mentioned as main factors needed in eradicating Juvenllo Delinquency. |
