Show v .' , , 1 '.TTOa LYNNDYL LYNES Sugar licet Yield Doubled The) tonnage of sugar beets at Lynndyl has been slightly more than doubled this year over that of last year, sixty cars having' heed shipped out as comparel with twenty-seven for the year 1924. Mr. John Great-house Great-house reports an average yield of twenty-two tons per acre. Five acres of his best beets averaged twenty-six tons to the acre. None of this land has ever been manured or a commercial commer-cial fertilizer applied to it. Lucern also grows well here. Mr. A. A. Hinckley reaped 1105 bushhels of seed from ninety acres, an average yield if thirteen bushels per acre. |
