Show Jolly Stitchers Entertain The Jolly Stitchers entertained at Woodrow Saturday evening for their husbands. Eighty-three plates were set for grown-ups, besides a table for the kiddies by themselves. . The affair was a huge success. Cards and games were played , until supper time, and during the course of the meal persons were calleA on to tell a funny story; it being Saint ' Pat's season, beejayzuz they told a lotuvem about the Oirish. Here's hoping those self same husbands hus-bands keep on speaking terms with their jolly stitchers' so that the stunt can be encored. |
