The Commercial Club got behind a committee com-mittee of two directors from the Delta Del-ta State bank and two from the First National bank to get the matter started. Just as soon as the financial finan-cial sky clears the banks can put up some money; but not a soul of the Commercial Club, nor any connected, can make a cent of money out of yi, nor add a cent to the cost of the cows if you just handle it right; when the time comes, get your committee com-mittee together, select one, two or three men to do the buying for you, from your own farm bureau members, mem-bers, and you buy at cost. The banks and, the Commercial Club are interested in nothing but getting in cows, and certainly you farmers can so handle your own affairs af-fairs as to block any profit-making game attempted on you, can't you? We think you can. Cows is all we want get them any way you want to, but get them. If somebody wants to chance it by. bringing in a carload to sell we will not stand in his "way, nor block his efforts; or, if your commute goes out, neither will be block your way. But only by concerted con-certed pulling can we ever get a start. Let's think it' out and work it out, together. |
