Some went to Hinckley, some to Oak City, some to Holden, and others to other places. Miss Jessie Freckeltou is visiting visit-ing her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Freckeltou. Mr. and Mrs. I. V. Many and J. P. Fidel of the South Tract were in our little town lately looking for wheat. . The outlok for beets is not very good a3 curly leaf blight is in almost al-most every field and will probably visit all the beets, Hay is good and hope3 are high for a real good crop; a number of fields are showing up fine. Mrs. Leon Memmeott presented her husband with a 2 la girl; Leon is recovering tho he had ordered twin boys. J. A. Allen and D. A. Brinker-hoff Brinker-hoff purchased a new Case thresher and are busy on the grain stacks, here owned by Mc Cornick men. R. L. Heyborne and family, also Mrs. Lawrence Clark visited Cedar City last week. While Cedar is booming and lots of work there, they do not care to go back, as they think their chances are better here, Mr. Stevens and Mr. Wood of Holden Hol-den were speakers at our sacrament services last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Peterson and family left last wek for a short visit vis-it in Logan. |
