Show JOLLY STITCHERS ENTERTAIN The Jolly Stitchers gave a chicken chick-en supper, followed by a program and danae, at the Woodrow Hall on Friday night, Nov. 14th. The Club lived up to their reputation, serving a fine supper and the show afforded a good deal of amusement. The members from Sutherland, as the Kltchenware Band, rendered some musical numbers that were received with muoh applause, the Instruments Instru-ments ranging all the way from percolators, per-colators, ourtatn rods, meat saws and dippers to roasters on broom handles, Mra. Hutson gave a fine reading, aa did Laura Tineley and Mrs. Cheel. Then a playlet was given, giv-en, also by the Sutherland ladles, that greatly amused the audience, especially with the impromptu performance per-formance little Master Austin gave. Then the Abraham members, four of them, Mrs. Hutson, Mrs. Need-ham. Need-ham. Miss Melba Peterson, and Mre. Klein, rounded off the program by danolng a spirited Highland Fling. The rest of the evening was spent tn dancing. The Club oleared about 160 on their entertainment. Mr. A. W. Mac Arthur of Salt Lake was a Delta visitor this week on business. On the SI and a 2 the Book of Mormon Pageant and the Waters of ' Mlnnetonka will be presented by aj cast of thirty-five, with good cos-; tumea, and good scenery. Seats for eary comers only. I Mli-a Dycle Law spent a few days In Salt Lake City last week. N. E. Broadbent of the Thornton Drug was In Salt Lake City last week. Mrs. Owen Bunker left last week for Fillmore, where she will remain for the winter with her mother, Mrs. Robinson. |
