Show Cut the Cost of Coal Road this carefully, it will do you good. Considerable has been said from many prominent sources, warning the people against "Fake Stocks," and entended only to take advantage upon them in the guise of "Get-Rich-Quick" schemes, having no merit, and inteuede only to take advantage of the unwary and unthinking of the commmunity. With all of these the writer fully agrees and heartily endorses. It is sometimes astonishing astonish-ing to notice how easily some, supposedly sup-posedly intelligent people are duned into the most unthinkable absurdity when just a little 'plain intelligent thought, carefully exercised, would ward off any such misfortune. The fact however, that an occasional occa-sional imposition is worked upon a "getrich-nuick" enthusiast, that could easily be avoided. Even though the victim usuallv comes out wiser as a result of this experience, is no-reason no-reason why the people should avoid or be directed away from a good and wholesome enterprise or an investment invest-ment that may work to their everlasting ever-lasting good and benefit, and something some-thing that is actually needed for the protection of the people of the state, any more than the farmer, because he has an occassional crop failure, should quit farming. It all farmers farm-ers quit farming becauseof an occasional occa-sional seasonal crop failure, what would become of us all? We would just quit, that's all. Just so with all industries. If the people do not support good and wholesomem enter prises that build up the state and community because of an occasional occasion-al "fake stock scheme" or promotion; promo-tion; progress would cease, and we would be done that's all. A little intellegent thought is all that is required to properly and safely safe-ly direct us in these important matters. mat-ters. Now the writer is representing the Consumers Mutual Coal Co., and if the people actually knew the facts as they are in connection with this company, with its available resources resourc-es and its abundance of high grade coal, most advantageously located for economical handling; free from debt) of any kind, except current bills which are met each pay day as they become due; stockholders participating par-ticipating in all the earnings of the company, as stated; if the people actually knew the facts, they would fall over themselves to buy this stock, to get the advantages offered by this company. This is no exager-ation, exager-ation, but simply plain facts. Local men who have seen the company's holdings, including B. H. Petersen, Wm. N. Gardner, M. H. Workman and E. H. Bunker will verify these facts. Mr. Jos. Schleeht of Eureka, upon returning from an inspection trip to the company's property two weeks ago. stated that the value of the property could -not be realized in fact, he said, it could not be comprehended com-prehended unless seen. Mr. Bunker of Delta, who took the Eureka party to the mine, heard these expressions and joined in the sentiment. The Eureka party have since made very substantial cash investments in this company, even going to Salt Lake City and withdrawing savings deposits depos-its t invest in the stock of this company, com-pany, and these are some of Eureka's Eure-ka's soundest business men. Why, Because they saw with their own eyes thhat this compnay has resources resour-ces and advantages in great abundance, abun-dance, thhe equal of which has sel- dom, if ever been offered to the people, and which this company is wiling to share with the people who join with them, either In large or small roportion, each dollar alike. . The stock sells at $10.00 per share. Each share gives the owner the privilege priv-ilege of purchasing three tons of coal per annum at the bare cost of production, plus ten per cent, and In s addition, the stock participates in the dividends of all the earning of Ihe company. Stockholders' prices -for this winter's coal, domestic lump or anything over a two inch screen, which includes nut and the big lump, will be $7.95 per ton delivered in 1 your bin, direct from the car, otherwise other-wise fi 0 cents per ton more for the extra handling.
