John Barnett was given a surprise sur-prise party last week, and a general gen-eral good time was enjoyed by all present. The regular monthly meeting of the Water Users' Association will be held in Woodrow Saturday, Satur-day, April 3rd, at 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Laura Furrer who has returned from a hospital in Salt Lake, greatly improved in health is receiving greetings from her friends. S. H. Thompson and Jerome Tracy, representing the Water Users' Association, took a trip to Ogden and Salt Lake City last week. The hummer Dramatic Association Associ-ation will make their debut in for Delta, Friday, p.m. We hope as cordial a reception in the sister sis-ter town as they were at home. A. N. Wright aud wife who have been spending the summer in California, have returned home with their new baby and are heartily greeted by all their friends. Special Easter services will be held by the Woodrow Sunday School next Sunday. The Parents Par-ents of the children are especially especial-ly requested to attend. Services at 10:30 a. m. Mrs. Rural Wright met 'with a painful accident last week by running the tine of a pitchfork in her foot. Symptoms of blood poisoning developed but were quickly under controU The genial tax assessor, Mr. Rapelye of Kanosh, has been visiting Woodrow the past week. We are glad to see him every spring even if we are compelled to pay for his visit in the fall. Roy Jones has gone away for several days and we have excel-1 excel-1 ent authority for the statement that he will return home with a better half. Mr. Jones is a prosperous pros-perous industrious young man with hosts of friends and the young couple are attended by hearty good wishes for the success suc-cess of their journey through life together. |
