Show Address to the graduates. At 1:30 a banquet was served to 150 guests including graduates, teachers, parents and the Band. Mf. Dyches the principal of the Holden school, was very proud of his class of 18, i t being the only class in the County that all ree'd. certificates and had the highest percents. We think he has just cause to be proud. The afternoon after-noon was spent in races, jumping and ball games, the east side carrying of the honors. The dance in the evening was too crowded to be enjoyed. Mr. Lamer has been here purchasing pur-chasing horses for the European war. Dr. Robinson is at the String-ham String-ham hotel for a few days. A number of our people have gone to Manti this week to work in the temple. Mrs. Roberts received a telegram tele-gram from San Francisco Saturday Satur-day saying that her mother was seriously ill. She was soon on her way to attend her in her illness. ill-ness. Mr. Whicker sold a Ford car to Bishop Stephenson Sunday. The correspondent made a flying fly-ing trip through Delta and Sutherland Suth-erland Sunday morning and it was certainly an inspiration to see the thrifty fields of grain and alfalfa. The crops seem to be far ahead of those on the east side as some of the grain was headed out. Holden Happenings On account of stormy weather, Eighth Grade Commencement was postponed from May 21st to May 24th, a very good change as the 24th was a pleasant day. Most of the graduates were present pres-ent to receive their Diplomas. Meeting was held at 10:30., Supt. Peterson took charge, an excellent excel-lent program was rendered and Prof L. A.
