Show AMERICAN SOLDIER KILLED. Met Death in Railroad Wreck and Not in Battle. Columbus, N. M. A railroad wreck In the district south of Casas Grades caused the death of the first soldier in the American punitive expeditionary expedition-ary command, according to dispatches received at military headquarters here. A message from General Pershing's Per-shing's headquarters said that George A. Hudnell, a negro soldier in troop ; B, Tenth cavalry, had been killed in , a wreck, but gave no details. |
