Show Hoiden Happenings Our town looks like a flower arden of roses and honey suckle. Seventeen of our citizens have 'one to Salt Lake City to attend :onference. Mrs. Ruby Stevensen and children of Duchesne are here isiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Knight ;?me up from Hinckley and A' ere given a shower at Mrs. Knight's mother's home Monday night where they received many gifts and congratulations. Hoiden was well represented it Well Day at Fillmore. Miss Erma Turner, one of our :nost highly esteemed young ladies was married to Mr. Val Styler of Oasis, in the Salt Lake Temple June 8th. Miss Turner will be greatly missed in oui ward as ahe was an entergetic worker in Primary, Sundaj School, Mutual and Religion masses, and was a member ol the ladies' quartette. Though she will be greatly missed, out loss will be Oasis' gain, and we A'ish the young couple a happy and successful life. Scarlet fever has again broken out, this time in the home ol Elmer Stevens. They are undei luarantine. Velma and Elza Hunter are home from the B. Y. U. Mrs. Jetta Smith is visiting her. parents this week. The L. D. S. returned missionaries mission-aries will hold a street meeting next Sunday evening. Grant Johnson has gone to Nebraska with 2 cars of hogs foi Clark and Johnson of Delta. |
