Show DELTA CHURCH NOTES. The Ladies' Club met at the hospitable hospit-able home of Dr. and Mrs. Hroaddus of Deseret last Thursday afternoon from 3 to 6. Conveyances were generously gener-ously provided and a goodly number went. At this meeting four ladies were added to the membership. Mrs. Hroaddus royally entertained with the music of the Pianola, the Vlctrolu, and several selections on the piano. The ptesldent, Mrs. Rutt, conducted the devotional de-votional by reading Pralms thirty-four and having Rev. O. T. Nethery offer prayer. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved. The naming of the club, which was left over from the last meeting, was again taken up. Members suggested the following names. Delta's Friendly Women, Social So-cial Union, Helping Hand and Friends Soojety. (After uontfideruihlo dlscu ston, It was decided to vote by ballot, and as a result, "Delta's Friendly Vi men" was selected as the name. A committee to draw up constitution and by-laws, to report at the next meeting, was appointed by the president. Mesdames January, Young, Underbill and Andrews composed the committee. ! Hy regular action of the club It was ; decided to create a devotional committee commit-tee to conduct devotional at each session ses-sion of the society. Mrs. Andrews was appointed and instructed to choose her own assistants. The society farther decided to have a stand on the fourth for the benefit of the society fund. The following committee was -appointed to have charge of (he work: Miss Gelgley, Mrs. Robb and Mrs. January. The club also agreed to meet in the homes of the members In alphabetical alpha-betical order, with privilege of ex-.'hngig. ex-.'hngig. At the close of the business he hastes served Ice cream and cake. Die ladles adjourned to meet next rhursday, June 27, at A p. m. with Mrs. J. W. Underbill, who lives two lilies south of town. The , Evangelistic Gospel meeting sdiich began last Saturday in the big ent near the postofflce will continue ?ach evening during the week. Song lervlce begins at 8 p. m. and the ser-lion ser-lion at 8:;!0 p. m. On Friday evening lev. Hanks will speak on "Where we tot our English Hlhle." Special milliters milli-ters of music will be given at e-ieh lervlce. The ladies of the "Delta Friendly iVonion" especially appreciated the limitless of those who provided conveyances con-veyances to De.seret last week, for all vho had no way of conveyance.
