Even under the present reduced price of the dull metal, the carload of about thirty tons brought the company $1,339 net The Southern Pacific railroad last week announced that the rates on ore from Nevada points to Salt Lake had been reduced and that there would be a greater supply of cars at the Nevada shipping points in order that the ore might be rushed to the Utah smelters. It has .been decided hy the manage ment of the Three Kings company at Park City, Utah, to carry the winze from the 500 level to still greater depth, as it is found that the contact proper has not yet .been reached. The winze is now down more than 125 feet. Deeds for the Bingham property ol the Ohio Copper company have been received by the reorganized company officials and filed in Salt Lake county. This is the last act that will give the new people absolute control of the property as well as the general com. pany affairs. The sulphuric acid plant, which has been built at the Garfield smelters, will be put In operation in a few days, as the beating up process is about completed.
