There has been a good deal of rain In tbe mountains and there Is little doubt but what there will be plenty of water for fall grain neat month. Fall wheat Is the ouly thing here. By irrigating In the fall no Irrigating Is needed until late In the spring and not more than two Irrigation will be needed then. The wheat gets the start of tbe weeds which are getting to be a serious pest, and better prices are paid tor Turkey red wheat than for spring grain. The grain also rotnes off In time to permit per-mit of early plowing after harvest so as to kill any late weeds there may be.
