Show Deseret Mountain Co. Will Start Hauling Ore Today J. H. Turner of the Deseret Mountain Mining Co.. and Mr. Hancock of the North Tract were in town Wed. They have completed the ore road from the mine to the edge of the North Tract project, and the company will begin hauling ore to Lucerne Lu-cerne today. To start on, they will employ 10 or' 12 four-horre teams for hauling and will make the round trip every other day. Their first car of ore is expect d to start from "Lucerne for the smelter next Sunday, and as things get systematized they will increase their hauling and open -ting force. For the present they expect to ship two cars each weel-. It is expected that some of the other companies out in that district dis-trict will put on teams within a short time and begin the movement move-ment of the ore now on their dumps. The prospects for a considerable consider-able tonnage of ore from thai: district for the coming fall and winter is bright and its movement move-ment this way will be a great help to this country. The county commissioners have already been looking into the. road proposition between the end of the railroad and the edge of the project and as soon as they can get at it the road will no doubt be put in shape. Some of the oad is reported as still being flooded however, and until this is corrected the condition condi-tion will be a menace to the hauling. |
