Old Roman Wall Unearthed. A part of the wall which once en closed obi St. raid's, I.oii'lon, has been discovered In excavations at the corner cor-ner of Paternoster How ami St. Paul's alley in liiiilun The wall, which Is attoiit tin feet long, la made of chalk and ruhltle, and was built In the twelfth century. On the same site pieces of a Hornan amphora, lloiusui i;ni'i anil soiio- Hiimlan ware have alo heen found. Other "finds" include a camel's skull iiiifitrthed lo High llol horn and a largo iiautlty ot pipes of the eighteenth century.
