OCR Text	Show Japanese-American Killed in France Word is received in Delta that Sgt. John Harano, a member of the 442nd Infantry, was killed in action act-ion in France. His brother George Harano works at the Delta Milling Corporation, in Delta. Sgt. Harano was one of the first volunteers to the Army from Topaz To-paz and had served in the 442nd Infantry which gained such fame for their gallant fighting on the beachheads on Italy. He is the son of Satoru Harano of Topaz, and was 21 years of age at the time he was killed.
