Show Suggests Application Of DDT on Weeds During the past couple of weeks the desirable spring weather has given our weeds a good boost and they are growing luxuriantly. Most of the white top in the flat has come into bloom. There is some controversy on which time would be best for applying ap-plying 2-4-D compounds. Some authorities au-thorities contend that it should be applied while In the rosette stage, but others have indicated that to put it on after it has made some growth so as to get the use of the maximum leaf surface for the effective ef-fective use of the 2-4-D compound to work on the plant. It would be very wise for any farmer who has white top on his land to start spraying immediately.
